This is my most recent print. It’s a screenprint onto calico.
Floating Bird Emperors. The idea came from a doodle starting with a beak, which turned into the one with the tall hat, and I felt that he needed companions.
I’m intending it to be used for largish cushion covers and possibly stretched over a canvas. I’d love for it to be wallpaper or curtains.

This is a large scale drawing I’m working on at the moment for a textiles screenprint. It’s aprox 24×36cm and I’ll recreate the drawing as a screenprint in 3 different colours, possibly sorbet pink, black and silver on a fawn coloured cotton. I’ll then stretch the cotton over a canvas and the battle scene will be a print to hang. It’s hard to see the details in this print so I’ve added 3 close-ups of parts of the print below this entry.
I was inspired by paintings and tapestries of medieval battle scenes - something looking ornate yet with ghastly undertones. This one will be part of a series of such scenes.
